Child Safety Standards
Effective date: 11 October 2026
One Day World has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards explain how we prevent, find and act on it.
Who can use One Day World
One Day World is for adults only. Everyone must confirm they are 18 or older before using the app, and posting requires signing in. Accounts we believe belong to someone under 18 are removed.
What is not allowed
- Any content that sexualises minors, including text, links or references to such material.
- Grooming, or any attempt to contact, groom or exploit a minor.
- Sharing, requesting or promoting child sexual abuse material in any form.
- Sharing contact details or handles to move a conversation with a minor elsewhere.
Messages are text only, and links, contact details and handles are blocked, which limits how this kind of harm can spread.
How we prevent and detect it
- Every message is checked before it is posted, by our own filters and by automatic safety review, and harmful messages are rejected.
- Anyone can report a message from inside the app. Messages reported by several people are hidden straight away until reviewed.
- Reports are reviewed automatically against these standards, and anything unclear is decided by a person.
What happens when we find it
- The content is removed and the account is permanently banned, along with the device it was used on.
- We report child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement in India, as required by law.
- We keep the information the law requires us to keep for an investigation, and share it only with the authorities.
How to report
- In the app: open the message, tap the menu and choose Report.
- By email: support@onday.world, with the words Child Safety in the subject. We act on these reports as a priority.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first.
